PU 80
​​Description
ZETTEX PU 80 is a one-component, ultra-fast curing,
flexible and high performance polyurethane adhesive for the direct glazing of vehicle glass. It is specifically designed to give a fast and safe drive-away time on vehicles fitted with airbags.

​​Application
• It is ideal for direct glazing on vehicles where high shear modulus and non-conductive properties are required. Solvent free, it is completely odourless. ZETTEX PU 80
combines a high modulus properties which provides the extra strength required to maintain torsional rigidity, very low volume resistivity and good high-frequency properties, allowing the correct bonding to glass incorporating radio antenna or additional electrical equipment.
• Fit the cartridge into a manual or pneumatic air operated gun (provided with telescopic piston).
The surfaces to be treated should be perfectly clean, dry and free from dust and grease. It is necessary to apply a cleaner/activator and a primer on glass. The adhesion on normal vehicle varnishes generally does not require the use of Primer. It is advisable to carry out preliminary
adhesion tests on the support. Specific guidance regarding the use of Primers may be obtained by submitting substrate samples to our laboratories.
• Drive Away Time: 30 minutes (throughout operating window of –5°C to +40°C)
• On vehicles fitted with both driver and passenger airbags ZETTEX PU 80 meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
